IBEW Local 2325 and Movement Labs agree to 3-year Contract

IBEW Local 2325 and Movement Labs have agreed to a 3-year contract. 21 Employees of Movement Labs today overwhelmingly ratified a first contract that provides stability, benefits and increased wages in their workplace. The IBEW and the Movement Labs bargaining team began negotiations 7 months ago. Due to the new members being located throughout the country, bargaining consisted of multiple conference calls, zoom meetings and lengthy emails. Handling multiple time zones was a challenge but the team persisted and had a goal of reaching a first contract.

Business Manager Dave Keating said, “This is a great first contract for the Movement Labs employees. We are excited to represent new IBEW members in the Political Data and Technology field.” Movement Labs combines data, technology and experimental methods with an army of volunteers to provide power to help candidates win. They have worked with some of the nation’s top progressive organizations and campaigns in all 50 states. “We look forward to showing other data and technology groups what organizing and collective bargaining can do for them. We will use this first contract as a model for others’ he said.

This contract is retroactive to October 1^st and will expire October 1^st 2025. BM Keating said “the leadership of Movement Labs was very professional and open to new ideas.” IBEW Local 2325 looks forward to a good working relationship with the Movement Labs team.
